Giving alms and helping the less fortunate is something that Islam highly demands, especially during Ramadhan. Over 50 orphans from Mukim Lumapas received donations, 10th March afternoon.

The donation presentation was officiated by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs. Also present were members of the Legislative Council. The donations are hoped to be able to cover the expenses of the orphans.
